Concert : Duo Ziriab
The Ziriab duo is the result of a collaboration between Lisa Meignin, a flautist with classical and jazz training, and Gaspard Schlich, a guitarist and composer. Ziriab is the name of a 9th-century Arab-Andalusian musician who is said to have passed on elements of Eastern music to the West, thanks to his exile in the Mediterranean basin. It is in the light of these exchanges that this duo offers a programme of classical, traditional and contemporary music.
