" From the town centre, take the GR5 to reach the three castles. The view is breathtaking, but put on your hiking boots, the panorama is well deserved! "
Nestling between the vineyards and the mountains, Ribeauvillé is a charming town which has preserved its historical heritage. In the 14th century, powerful lords decided to build the village walls and the castle. Leaving from Place de la République, you can discover other strongholds which overlook the town: Saint-Ulrich (11th-15th c.), Girsberg (13th c.) and Haut-Ribeaupierre (13th-15th c.) make up a very pleasant 3-hour ramble.
